Release Notes 

Version 2.0

We are excited to release the newest version of LifeAware. This has taken all of your feedback, fixed many issues with the 1.1 version, and added some much needed functionality. Existing customers should synchronize their friends and locations prior to installing the latest version to make sure they are maintained. Here is a bit of what is included in this release.

- Removed 90 day trial limitation.

- Ability to accept invitations directly from the phone. You are no longer required to login to the website to accept.

- Added ability to view who can locate you on the phone, and control your visibility to them under "Manage Friends."

- Added ability to switch to satellite view on map.

- LifeAware application now retries sending of location if a data connection is not available when it tries to post to the LifeAware servers.

- Fixes situations reported where location may not be captured for hours.

- Fixes issues with database corruption where friend information and locations may be lost and have to be reloaded.

- Fixes many issues when switching between portrait and landscape modes causing icons to disappear or the application to crash.



Version 1.1

We have listened to your feedback and have released LifeAware version 1.1 to the Android Market. We encourage all of our members to download and install the latest version which includes enhancements and fixes to the prior version.

- Fixes issues with disappearing friends. If the internal database becomes corrupt, the application will now auto-sync the information with the server so no information is lost.

- Enhancements to location acquisition.

- Auto-sync of tagged locations with zones so they take effect immediately and do not require a manual sync.

- Auto-sync of friends

- Invited individuals will appear in your friends list with synchronization but will not allow you to locate them until they accept your invitation.

- Fixes for orientation change issues causing users changes to be lost.
